Requirements
  • Three years of residential kitchen design remodeling experience is preferred.
  • Three years of project management experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with consumers in relationship selling and project management are required.

  • A flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and evening appointments, is required.
  • Experience managing sales funnels and supporting retailer activities, including training, is required.
  • Superior communication and organizational development skills are required.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction documentation and sequencing are required.
  • Practical knowledge of value engineering is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Project, Excel, and Word, is required.
  • The ability to travel within an assigned market is required.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee customers’ kitchen remodeling projects from sale through project completion.
  • Respond to site-analysis purchase orders provided by Home Depot.
  • Schedule in-home measurements with customers.
  • Create accurate 20/20 files using site-analysis information.
  • Prepare estimates of expected labor costs and scope of work.
  • Provide and review labor bids with customers and submit labor bids to the store for future purchase.
  • Manage work in pre-sale and post-sale funnels.
  • Review kitchen cabinet layouts with customers to ensure design fit.
  • Establish rapport with customers and discuss their installation needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for kitchen installations involving specific stores, independent contractors, and the Crew2 sales force, liaising among customers, stores, and contractors while managing jobs in progress daily.
  • Perform job-site visits at predetermined milestones and as needed.
  • Review independent-contractor availability and offer jobs to meet customer schedules.
  • Approve independent-contractor invoices for payment and confirm negotiated pricing.
  • Complete permit applications and confirm that required permits are posted on site.
  • Track and close open permits as required.
  • Ensure Lead Safe practices are considered or followed on appropriate jobs and complete the required paperwork.
  • Update project systems with the most current project information.
  • Execute the change-order process when needed.
  • Provide weekly project updates to the Field Operations Manager.
  • Track and report project financials, including margins, forecasts, and billing.
  • Communicate effectively with supervising managers, consumers, general contractors, subcontractors, and retailers.

Interior Logic Group, Inc. and Interior Specialists, Inc. announced a merger to form the largest interior finish services company in the US, with $1.5 billion in revenue. The new company, headquartered in Irvine, CA, will have over 4,300 employees and 225 locations. Alan Davenport will be President & CEO, and Mark Fikse will be Executive VP. The merger, backed by Littlejohn & Co. and Platinum Equity, is expected to close in Q2 2018, with Bank of America Merrill Lynch arranging debt financing.
