About the Company

RiverWoods

Non-profit Life Plan Communities with care

RiverWoods is a not-for-profit system of Continuing Care Retirement Communities in New Hampshire that offers a continuum of care from independent living to nursing care within the same campus. It operates three campuses—RiverWoods Exeter, RiverWoods Manchester, and RiverWoods Durham—guided by the RiverWoods Group, which coordinates administration and financial stability across the communities. Residents pay a one-time entrance fee plus monthly fees; as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, any profits are reinvested in the communities to improve services, facilities, and staff rather than distributed to shareholders. The communities provide dining options, fitness centers, wellness clinics, hiking trails, and a varied schedule of social, educational, and cultural activities, with on-site healthcare options as residents’ needs change; the goal is reliable, high-quality senior living with accessible healthcare and a strong sense of community across Northern New England.
