Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
  • At least 3 years of related work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience and comfort with presenting and facilitating meetings.
  • Experience and comfort with remote and hybrid work to support in-person meetings and events.
  • Exceptional planning and organizing skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Salesforce CRM tools.

Responsibilities
  • Increase awareness of Thrivent's Community Impact and Membership programs with clients and communities.
  • Partner with advisors to raise awareness of Thrivent with their clients and communities by leveraging Membership and Community Impact programs.
  • Develop and activate strategic partnerships with regional churches, nonprofits, and business networks.
  • Partner with field leaders to develop and deliver integrated strategic plans tailored to growth markets and individual advisor growth priorities.
  • Develop centers-of-influence relationships in communities to grow awareness of Thrivent and opportunities to tell Thrivent's story.
  • Support advisors in building client and community engagement plans that leverage Thrivent's membership, community impact programs, and engagement strategies.
  • Build and execute community engagement plans with local advisors to connect Thrivent clients with Thrivent Member Network activities.
  • Work with and through advisors to activate clients as advocates of Thrivent and their local advisor practices.
  • Build local engagement strategies in partnership with local market field leaders.
  • Execute local Thrivent Member Network activities to create opportunities for advisors to connect with members and prospective members and generate advisor appointments.
  • Build awareness of Thrivent in local communities through Membership and Community Impact programs.
  • Raise awareness of the advisor career opportunity through engagement activities.
  • Integrate enterprise growth priorities into local engagement strategies, including program rollouts, career opportunities, and Thrivent programs such as Thrivent Charitable, Money Canvas, Church Finance, and Thrivent Bank.
  • Provide consultation and support resources to new and experienced Thrivent Financial Advisors.
  • Develop and execute community events and partnerships with advisors and connect them to regional engagement events.
  • Build relationships with community leaders, churches, nonprofits, and local business networks to strengthen community impact outcomes and business results.

  • Demonstrated ability to build, activate, and leverage networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others for goal achievement.
  • Strong connections in the Christian community represented in the market and strong relationships within local business and nonprofit communities.
  • Community engagement experience and enthusiasm for building relationships.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish ability in specific markets.
