Samaritan Daytop Village

View

Samaritan Daytop Village is a nonprofit agency that combines behavioral healthcare with housing support across New York City, Long Island and the Hudson Valley. Its treatment programs address addiction and mental illness through residential stays, outpatient care and medication-assisted treatment. Veterans and mothers with children receive tailored services, while peer recovery centers connect people with community support. Housing ranges from emergency shelter to permanent supportive homes, alongside case management and help finding work. The agency grew from a Queens counseling clinic opened in 1960 and has its administrative headquarters in Briarwood, New York.
