Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing with completion of a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing within three years.
  • Have at least two years of Home Care or Hospice experience.
  • Have at least three years of clinical experience.
  • Hold an active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulation.
  • Possess a current Michigan motor vehicle license, the ability to drive a car, and an insured vehicle capable of transporting the employee to patient homes or other offices in various weather conditions.
  • Receive required vaccinations or have laboratory-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella, and receive an annual influenza vaccine or an approved medical or religious exemption.
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and support to Hospice House staff to ensure patients receive excellent care supported by best practices in an efficient and fiscally responsible manner.
  • Provide leadership oversight for bereavement and volunteer functions within Hospice.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
