Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned PIP arbitration matters.
  • Draft basic arbitration briefs, replies, and supporting legal documents.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
  • Review medical records, bills, explanations of benefits, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist attorneys with arbitration preparation and case management.
  • Monitor deadlines and maintain accurate case documentation.
  • Assist with post-service appeals and other litigation support as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in New Jersey personal injury protection or personal injury.
  • Experience negotiating personal injury protection arbitration settlements.
  • Basic legal brief writing experience.
  • Knowledge of New Jersey personal injury protection arbitration procedures.
  • Knowledge of the New Jersey personal injury protection fee schedule, precertification requirements, and post-service appeals.
  • Experience with Litify or similar case management software.
