  • Membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of statutory requirements related to vehicle fleet operations.
  • Recognized qualification in vehicle or transport engineering (highly desirable).
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive fleet strategy, assessing vehicle performance, costs, and suitability to meet current and future business needs.
  • Implement robust data tracking practices, including mileage, repair requests, fuel management, and maintenance rates, to optimize fleet operations.
  • Drive cost and data analysis initiatives to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and carbon footprint reduction.
  • Oversee the development and administration of the Fleet annual budget, monitoring expenditures and implementing adjustments as needed.
  • Provide insightful management reporting on vehicle and equipment costs, as well as usage patterns.
