Spreetail is seeking an Accountant who will work on analyzing monthly financial statement accounts, executing month-end journal entries, designing business processes and providing team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment. The candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and has the ability to work and perform in a fun, agile, and fast paced business environment.
How you will achieve success:
- Document policies and processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Analyze monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals.
- Execute task and provide team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment to meet company, department, and team metrics.
- Identify problems and recommend solutions to resolve issues including summarizing and communicating recommendations to leadership.
- Design reporting and metrics; provide analysis and interpret data to build recommendations that drive action.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- 3+ years’ experience in accounting/business/finance.
- Strong Excel experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- CPA and public accounting experience is preferred.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
