Clean driving record and ability to maintain safe driving practices.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability to perform residential electrical work safely.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain residential electrical systems.
Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions.
Educate homeowners about their electrical systems and recommended upkeep.
Use tools, meters, and equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow safety codes, building regulations, and company procedures.
Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly.
Communicate with Dispatch, customers, and teammates.
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and accurate inventory.
Participate in training sessions and team meetings, up to three times weekly.
Present a professional appearance while wearing the company uniform.

At Beacon, we’ve built a team that sets a high standard and we’re looking to add to it. We’re seeking skilled Residential Electricians with 3+ years of electrical expertise to service homeowners in our Northern Virginia and Montgomery County, MD service area.
This is a hands-on residential service role centered around troubleshooting and understanding the full electrical system. You’ll be joining a team that already operates at a high level, where technicians are trusted to diagnose issues, think critically, and deliver real solutions for homeowners.
Success in this role comes from being able to see the bigger picture-identifying not only the immediate issue, but also opportunities for preventative maintenance, repairs, and system improvements that can be handled in the moment.

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience
