What believers are saying

  • Mantis updated its website on 2026-07-27, signaling active commercial posture.
  • LinkedIn postings in 2025 required TS/SCI and CI polygraph, showing ongoing demand.
  • The 2026 ENCORE III listing positions Mantis for DISA and DoD task orders.

What critics are saying

  • Mantis depends heavily on federal buyers and clearance-heavy work, concentrating revenue risk.
  • Competing against larger federal integrators on ENCORE III compresses margins and win rates.
  • If cleared talent pipeline slows, TS/SCI delivery stalls and the business loses contract credibility.

What makes Mantis Security unique

  • Ex-Intelligence Community leadership gives Mantis deep IC and DoD tradecraft.
  • The company sells zero trust, RMF, cloud engineering, and cyber-AI, not generic staffing.
  • Its GSA Schedule 47QTCA21D0042 and ENCORE III listing support federal procurement access.
