Responsibilities

Carry out nursing services and patient care in the outpatient department in accordance with nursing-service quality and outpatient safety standards.
Prepare facilities for service by ensuring room safety and comfort and checking that required equipment, medicines, and other health equipment are available and functioning properly.
Provide nursing care using standard nursing practices, perform emergency medical or nursing actions for major health problems requiring outpatient services, and observe and monitor patients' physical and psychological condition, vital signs, and main complaints during and immediately after procedures.
Help patients before and during doctors' procedures by preparing them physically and psychologically, calming them, positioning them, and providing patients and families with a sense of security and comfort.
Prepare patients who have completed procedures by meeting administrative needs, including providing home-care instructions, sick certificates, referral letters when needed, and prescriptions for home use; provide health education to patients and families as needed.
Implement and maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care to ensure accurate information and communication.
Implement and maintain quality and safety procedures and practices, including attending training, collecting data, documenting, and preparing reports to support hospital-wide indicators and department or unit targets.

Job Description

•Responsible for carrying out nursing services/care for patients in the Outpatient department in accordance with the quality of nursing services and safety of outpatients

•Prepare facilities for smooth service and make it easier for patients/families to receive services, by: Arranging the safety and comfort of the room, Checking and ensuring that all required equipment is functioning properly and that medicines and other necessary health equipment are available and ready to use.

•Providing nursing care using standard nursing practice: Carrying out emergency medical/nursing actions according to major health problems that require Outpatient services, Carrying out observations, monitoring the patient's health condition (general condition: physical, psychological, vital signs and main complaints) during the procedure and immediately after the action.

•Helping patients before and during procedures by doctors, including: Preparing the patient both physically and psychologically, calming the patient, adjusting the patient's position. Provide a sense of security and comfort to the patient/family during the procedure.

•Prepare patients who have completed procedures, including: Administrative needs, such as: instructions for home care, sick certificates, referral letters if necessary, and prescriptions for home use. Provide health education to patients/families as needed.

•Implement and maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care, so as to create an accurate information and communication system.

•Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
