Requirements
  • BA/BS required, specializing in Media Studies, Communications, Business Administration, or other adjacent or relevant disciplines.
  • 2+ years of relevant work and internship experience, preferably at a media/entertainment/tech company.
  • Must have prior experience as an assistant or operating in an administrative capacity -- preferably at a network, studio, production company, talent, or advertising agency.
  • Demonstrated strength leveraging and navigating the Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail, able to produce information quickly, succinctly, and thoughtfully.
  • Excellent time management skills - especially when juggling multiple competing and changing priorities.
  • Strong and practical communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and diligent approach to navigating complex topics.
  • Demonstrated ability in critical thinking and deductive reasoning - with the ability to be proactive by thinking 2-3 steps ahead.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Sports and Brand Studio. This includes but is not limited to, calendar and contact management, travel booking, expense reconciliation, and cross-functional logistical support.
  • Interface and coordinate meetings with internal and key external partners across multiple time zones.
  • Liaise with all appropriate, cross-functional team members, including content production, post-production, content acquisition, business affairs, legal, marketing, consumer insights, PR, and Operations departments to gather or provide information, organize meetings, and help keep business priorities moving forward.
  • Be a central resource for many key internal documents that are relevant to these two distinct businesses – including planning grids, documents (ex, business plans, creative summaries, RFP decks, production schedules), creative materials (ex, sizzle reels, decks, Airtable), deal/opportunity trackers – as you will often be called on to pull information about specific deals and projects.
  • Run point on meeting logistics, which can also include collecting and compiling multi-department agenda items, taking notes, and following up on deliverables following meetings.
  • It will be necessary for the candidate to learn each line of business, Sports and Brand Studio, including the internal/external partners involved, development/sales strategy, programming philosophy, revenue plans, and more.
  • The successful candidate will develop a shorthand with each manager, will quickly learn how to prioritize tasks, and eventually become a contributor to growing the businesses.
