  • Strategic SaaS sales director with deep experience in the Australian Federal and State Government sectors
  • Drive growth, build trusted relationships, and lead complex enterprise deals that help government agencies deliver better digital services

  • 5–10 years’ experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a strong focus on Australian Government (Federal and/or State)

  • Strong network across Canberra and major state capitals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and a passion for public sector impact

  • Exceptional customer relationships and communication skills with ability to establish credibility and trust with senior executives

Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for Federal and State Government across Australia
  • Build and manage a high-value pipeline, from prospecting through to close
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth, retention, and customer loyalty
  • Navigate complex procurement processes including RFTs, panels, and deal negotiations
  • Develop strong relationships with senior public sector stakeholders and leading consulting firms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, legal, services, customer success) to deliver tailored solutions
  • Provide accurate forecasting and strategic insights to inform executive leadership
  • Represent the company at government forums, industry events, and innovation summits
Desired Qualifications
  • 5–10 years’ experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a strong focus on Australian Government (Federal and/or State)

  • Experience with CRM, CX, data analytics, or cloud platforms (bonus)
  • Familiarity with Commonwealth Government contracts and ICT procurement panels (bonus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Technology, or related field (bonus)
