Requirements
  • Experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience managing ground-up and tenant improvement commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil, structural, architectural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination.
  • Ability to motivate subcontractors while maintaining schedule, safety, and quality expectations.
  • Commercial general contractor experience is required; candidates whose experience is limited to residential or multifamily construction will not be considered.
  • A valid Texas driver's license is required.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Candidates must complete a behavioral assessment as part of the hiring process.
Responsibilities
  • Lead field operations from mobilization through project completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, consultants, and municipal agencies.
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Drive production while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule expectations.
  • Enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards and company safety policies.
  • Conduct weekly toolbox safety meetings.
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
  • Generate and manage punch lists through project closeout.
  • Complete daily reports, progress photos, and project documentation in Procore.
  • Communicate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, Engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interpret architectural, structural, civil, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction documents.
  • Coordinate subcontractor scheduling and sequencing.
  • Review and verify subcontractor change orders.
  • Manage material deliveries, equipment logistics, and overall site coordination.
  • Identify challenges early and proactively develop effective solutions.
  • Lead field teams, build client relationships, mentor trade partners, and deliver commercial construction projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Procore experience.
  • Microsoft Project experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating with municipal building departments and inspectors.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
