Requirements
  • Experience with project management software such as Primavera Project Planner (P6), Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams, plus a general understanding of working within a computer network.
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory, and survey techniques.
  • Experience organizing technical data in a neat and accurate manner and familiarity with the CSI specification system for construction.
  • Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively through high-pressure situations while maintaining a cooperative attitude.
  • Written and oral communication skills sufficient to develop strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Time-management skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize work, and handle frequent interruptions from phone calls and questions about work in progress.
  • Ability to collaborate with personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership.
  • Patience and professionalism.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or an equivalent degree or certification, or possessing equivalent related work experience in data management.
  • Educational background in materials and methods of construction.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and follow through on assignments.
  • Creativity, independent judgment, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan and organize work.
  • Ability to meet the stated physical and mental requirements, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, using a keyboard and mouse, maintaining visual and auditory acuity, lifting up to 20 pounds, and maintaining constant mental alertness, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Collect and input schedule status update information into the project schedule.
  • Attend in-person and/or virtual project schedule progress meetings as needed.
  • Identify changes to the project schedule.
  • Notify teams of impacts to critical path activities and schedule logic.
  • Maintain technical schedule integrity.
  • Produce and distribute weekly and monthly schedules, forecasts, and reports.
  • Manage Outlook distribution lists and standard-form emails for schedule distribution.
  • Maintain project schedule archives and documentation.
  • Assist project managers and project superintendents with schedule status updates, logic changes, delays, schedule-progress analysis, and other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • Some scheduling experience with Primavera software (P6).
