Responsibilities
  • Promote existing research data generated within the Branded Products group to support what is being done within the Branded Team
  • Deliver data in a credible manner to generate interest and determine if there is a fit for a Branded Product in the territory
  • Advocate for the validation work at a local level to confirm that the product has a fit and will accomplish the stated goal
  • Promote products that provide value for our crop selection and should either save the grower money, increase yield, or increase the quality
  • Performing and assisting with internal Sales Team, Dealer, and Grower product meetings
  • Provide pricing guidance to the field sales staff on Branded Products
  • Assist in developing annual area, branch, and personal sales goals
  • Provide Branded Product communication to all levels within the region, including product introductions and updates
  • Enhance the ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Ensure processes are managed for maximum efficiency (Pricing - ASAP 2.0, Forecasting – ADAPT, and Business Planning Template)
  • All other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • 5 years of actual sales experience preferred
  • Experience working with Product Forecasts
  • Experience scouting crops and making recommendations is preferred
  • Ability to assist with creating and maintaining product sales support materials for the region with assistance and direction from Branded Products and Strategic Marketing teams
  • Demonstrated direction-setting around regional forecasting processes
  • Skill in providing sales coaching and motivation
  • A high degree of leadership ability including building relationships with cross-functional team members
  • Excellent written and verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to set priorities
  • Skill in creative and critical thinking, especially around idea initiation for new branded products (in collaboration with Product Development)
