- Must be an English speaker.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience teaching adults.
- Provide face-to-face English tutoring for one adult student, with two 90-minute classes per week, for up to 20 initial hours.
- Adapt instruction to the student's goals, including everyday communication, longer conversations, and independence in real-life situations such as shopping, appointments, healthcare interactions, and social conversations.
- Use role-plays, listening practice, pronunciation support, and authentic materials and activities; LTC will cover the cost of any needed textbooks.
