Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, business analysis, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field and 0-2 years of experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey data insights to cross-functional teams, and get-it-done attitude to problem solving.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI (preferred) and Data Query languages such as SQL, DAX, M, Python or R.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc).
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and production leads to assist in decision-making on tooling, scheduling, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Collect, manage, analyze production and process data to support efficiency, throughput, and quality goals.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for operations, quality, and supply chain stakeholders.
  • Translate production and business requirements into actionable data models and visualizations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Train plant floor personnel, supervisors, and engineers on new reports, dashboards, and tools.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, MES, or production tracking tools and an understanding of system-level interaction between MES and ERP/MRP.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint (ERP/MRP), Aegis FactoryLogix (MES), and Siemens Teamcenter (PLM).
