Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally within home health, Department of Labor programs, or other service-oriented industries.
  • A proven track record of building long-term trust with clients rather than only closing deals.
  • Ability to build rapport with retired or disabled energy workers seeking support and clarity.
  • Ability to explain complex benefit programs in simple, respectful terms.
  • Experience with phone-based outreach, CRM tools, and call center systems for managing and nurturing client relationships.
  • Comfort meeting individuals or small groups at events, union halls, or local community gatherings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining committed to a shared mission.
  • Strong follow-through and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen as applicable by state.
Responsibilities
  • Attend in-person, online, and phone appointments.
  • Make outbound sales calls and enter and maintain lead and opportunity data in the CRM.
  • Contact, follow up with, and convert leads from marketing, sales, leadership, and individual outreach efforts into patients.
  • Determine potential eligibility for services and educate potential claimants and clients about benefits under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act and Radiation Exposure Compensation Act.
  • Prepare documents and written communications for leads.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local lead and referral sources to identify potential patients and generate leads.
  • Manage the entire sales process from sourcing through patient enrollment while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and maintain sales metrics, including CRM data entry, to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies throughout the sales process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
