A bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance, product management support, underwriting, business analysis, or a related insurance function.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of commercial lines insurance products, forms, rules, and rating plans.
Support product revisions and enhancements from concept through implementation.
Work with the Product Manager to analyze product performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for product improvements.
Prepare recommendations for product changes based on analysis.
Maintain product documentation, including coverage comparisons, underwriting guidelines, and system requirements.
Assist with regulatory and state filing preparation and coordinate rate, rule, and form filings with state insurance departments.
Work with internal compliance teams or external filing and actuarial vendors to ensure timely and accurate filing submissions.
Track filing approvals, objections, and implementation timelines across jurisdictions.
Ensure approved product changes are accurately reflected in internal systems and documentation.
Partner with IT, business analysts, and system vendors to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Participate in system configuration reviews related to product changes.
Assist in prioritizing product enhancement requests and system improvements.
Support user acceptance testing for system and product releases.

Experience with SERFF is preferred but not required.
Industry designations such as AINS, AU, ARM, or CPCU are preferred but not required.

We are excited to announce our search for a full-time on-site Insurance Product Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by providing products and services that foster stability and security. This job contributes to the mission of FrankCrum by working closely with Product Management, Underwriting, Actuarial, Compliance, and Information Technology to assist with product enhancements, state filings, system implementation, and ongoing product performance analysis.
