Maintenance Helper
About the job
- Previous experience in a maintenance role.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and machinery.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively.
- Assist with routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of equipment and fixtures.
- Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure everything is functioning properly.
- Address emergency maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Keep maintenance areas organized and clean, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Communicate ongoing tasks and potential issues to the maintenance supervisor regularly.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
