We are seeking a full time Logistics and Supply Chain Management expert to assist us with taking things to the next level. This person will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all logistics, delivery fleet management and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and timely last-mile delivery services. The role demands strategic planning, resource management, and operational excellence to meet and exceed business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term logistics strategies to meet company goals.
- Analyze operational and financial data to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Operations & Fleet Management
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including route planning, field fleet management, and warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and logistics.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of logistics managers, planners, and coordinators.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the logistics team.
Vendor Relations
- Establish and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to optimize service and reduce costs.
Customer Service
- Liaise with customer service and sales teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve delivery services.
Technology Adoption
- Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art logistics software and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Performance Metrics
- Develop and track KPIs to assess logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
Budget Management
- Prepare and manage the logistics budget, optimizing costs while maintaining high service standards.
Risk Management
- Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Reporting
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on logistics performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large teams and complex logistics operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Familiarity with logistics software and technology solutions.
