About the Company

Choate Construction

General contracting and design-build services

Choate Construction provides general contracting, preconstruction, and design-build services for commercial construction projects across the Southeast, including healthcare facilities, corporate offices, and industrial centers. The company guides projects from early planning through construction, with teams handling budgeting, scheduling, and on-site management to ensure quality delivery. A distinctive feature is that Choate is 100% employee-owned since 2016, aligning staff interests with project success and client outcomes. This ownership model, plus a long track record dating to 1989, sets Choate apart from competitors who are not employee-owned and helps foster long-term relationships, reliable collaboration, and consistent performance. The company aims to remain a major regional contractor by delivering solid, well-managed projects and growing its employee-owned culture across its offices in the Carolinas and the broader Southeast.
