Integration Specialist
About the job
- At least 5 years of hands-on integration experience in complex internal system environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Boomi and integration patterns, including extract, transform, and load; publish/subscribe; and middleware orchestration.
- Proficiency in application programming interfaces, JSON/XML, and common data transformation techniques.
- Solid understanding of enterprise resource planning, human resources information systems, ticketing, and customer relationship management systems.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot across data flows, middleware layers, and endpoint systems.
- Experience working in a cross-functional, distributed technology environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, especially when working across IT and business teams.
- Take ownership of integration flows built in Boomi, including maintaining, monitoring, and improving live connections.
- Design and implement new integrations with Boomi as needed across ticketing, marketing, and enterprise resource planning systems.
- Build and maintain robust logging, alerting, and monitoring for integration health.
- Collaborate with internal developers, IT partners, and system vendors to align architecture decisions across platforms.
- Keep documentation up to date for all integrations, with clear version control and change management.
- Contribute to decisions about future middleware or integration tooling as the technology stack evolves.
- Experience with BigQuery or data warehouse migrations.
- Familiarity with Azure environments.
- Understanding of marketing and ticketing platform integrations, such as AudienceView and Elektra.
- Familiarity with Workday.
