  • Experience leading complex technology or controls transformation initiatives, including developing target-state operating models, implementation roadmaps, governance routines, and measurable adoption outcomes.
  • Experience designing or implementing controls-as-code, policy-as-code, automated guardrails, telemetry-driven controls, continuous monitoring, or evidence automation.
  • Advanced knowledge of technology risk and control environments, including issue management, audit readiness, evidence standards, data quality, control design, control evaluation, and sustainable risk mitigation.
  • Experience designing governance for enterprise-authorized AI capabilities or agentic AI-enabled workflows, including human validation, approval and escalation requirements, traceability, data sensitivity, security, and regulatory considerations.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage complex dependencies, influence senior stakeholders, and translate technical and control considerations into business strategy and executive-level communications.
  • Practical knowledge of engineering methods and technology workflows, including applying systems thinking, root-cause analysis, automation, and measurable feedback loops to complex control challenges.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technology risk management strategies, policies, and processes that identify, assess, and mitigate risk while meeting firm standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the transformation of technology controls from reactive remediation to a proactive, product-based operating model with defined intake, prioritization, delivery, validation, and sustainable closure processes.

  • Establish reuse-first expectations and governance standards for enterprise-authorized AI capabilities used in technology risk and controls workflows, including validation, approval, escalation, traceability, and auditability requirements.
  • Develop reusable control patterns across technology domains, including identity and access management, change management, operational resilience, monitoring, data, third-party technology, and configuration management.
  • Implement controls-as-code, policy-as-code, automated guardrails, continuous control signals, and automated evidence capture within technology development and operational workflows.
  • Design end-to-end traceability across control intent, actions, and outcomes, including AI-assisted actions and tool activity, to strengthen evidence quality, accountability, and audit readiness.
  • Apply systems thinking, root-cause analysis, automation, and measurable feedback loops to reduce repeat issues, reopened findings, manual evidence collection, and control-related rework.
  • Establish target-state architecture, implementation roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, adoption measures, and operating routines that improve control performance and remove delivery barriers.
  • Manage control reporting, issue management, action-plan governance, and performance measurement, translating control health into trusted metrics, leading indicators, and decision points for senior leaders.
  • Build relationships across technology, risk, cybersecurity, audit, and other functions to drive adoption of standardized controls and maintain alignment with legal, regulatory, security, and resiliency expectations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior financial services experience.

About the company

JPMorgan Chase runs the largest bank in the United States, which serves households and small businesses as Chase and large companies, governments, and investors as J.P. Morgan. During the 2008 financial crisis it bought the failing investment bank Bear Stearns and lender Washington Mutual, and in 2023 it took over First Republic Bank after regulators seized it. Chase takes deposits and earns interest on credit cards, mortgages, and car loans, while the investment side earns fees for advising on mergers, raising money for companies, trading stocks and bonds, and managing wealth. Formed in a 2000 merger, JPMorgan Chase traces its roots to 1799 and is based in New York City.

Dimon poached Buffett's protégé Todd Combs to run $10B fund; Buffett: "at least he's going to you

JPMorgan Chase chief executive Jamie Dimon hired Todd Combs, a former Geico chief executive and Berkshire Hathaway investment manager, to lead a $10 billion investment group. Combs joined in December 2025 under the bank's Security and Resiliency Initiative, which aims to help companies accelerate manufacturing. Speaking at a US Chamber of Commerce event in January, Dimon said he called Warren Buffett personally. Buffett "probably wouldn't have preferred it, but he said, 'if he's going anywhere, at least he's going to you,'" Dimon said. Buffett's assistant confirmed the account. Combs had been at Berkshire since 2010 and sat on JPMorgan's board for nine years. His group has already committed $5 billion of its $10 billion allocation.

JP Morgan sees emerging market weight loss drug sales hitting $22B by 2035

JP Morgan expects weight-loss drug sales in China, India, and Brazil to reach $22 billion by 2035, up from $6.6 billion today. Usage remains low: below 0.1% in China and under 0.2% in India, against 4% to 5% in the US. Cost has been the main barrier. JP Morgan says patent cliffs, generic launches, and policy-driven price cuts are making the drugs more affordable. It expects China to pass Brazil by 2027 and reach $13.7 billion by 2035, versus $8 billion for Brazil. India is the smallest market, held back by hesitancy around injections. Eli Lilly, which said it holds about 55% of the international incretin market, stands to gain. Its China revenue grew 93% in constant currency, and it raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $85 billion to $87 billion.

Wall Street fears AI agents will drain bank deposits, but analysts say risk is overdone

Wall Street fears AI agents could pull deposits from banks, but leading analysts and executives say the risk is overblown. Bank stocks have fallen since Meta Platforms launched its Muse personal agent on September 8: Bank of America is down 18%, Charles Schwab 14%, Wells Fargo 6%, and JPMorgan Chase 5%. Agents can compare yields and recommend options, which could erode the inertia that keeps customers' money in place. If deposits move, banks may have to pay more interest, squeezing profits. Analysts Mike Mayo and Gerard Cassidy say trust matters more to customers than slightly higher returns. A Deloitte survey found 72% of bank customers hesitate to share financial data with generative AI tools. Third-quarter earnings showed no clear shift in deposits.

NJCC closes $15M tax credit financing for ResinTech expansion, creating 100 jobs in Camden

New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC) has closed a $15 million New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing to support the expansion of ResinTech's manufacturing and warehouse facility in Camden, New Jersey. The deal was announced on October 22, 2026. The money will fund a 34,500-square-foot addition as part of an approximately $18.6 million project. Construction is due to begin in October 2026 and finish in October 2027. The expansion is expected to retain 259 jobs, create 100 permanent full-time positions, and support about 113 construction jobs. JPMorgan Chase was the tax credit investor and provided an extra $3 million in NMTC allocation, bringing the total to $18 million. This is NJCC's second NMTC investment in the family-owned maker of ion exchange resins. In 2019, it closed a $7 million deal to help ResinTech move to Camden.
