What believers are saying

  • InfoComm 2025 and 2026 highlighted Broadata’s medical imaging and operating-room workflows.
  • LinkBridge and standalone encoder launches extend its IP and fiber product breadth.
  • Board-level SDVoE membership gives Broadata direct influence over ecosystem standards and partners.

What critics are saying

  • Broadata depends heavily on SDVoE; Semtech and allies shape its roadmap.
  • Broadata stays niche and private, limiting scale against Crestron, Extron, and AptoVision.
  • If healthcare and broadcast design wins stall, Broadata loses its highest-value growth engine.

What makes Broadata Communications unique

  • Broadata deepens SDVoE influence after joining the board in January 2025.
  • Its fiber-first AV stack targets medical, broadcast, and mission-critical environments.
  • 2026 demos bundled HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and zero-latency switching.
