Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
- A Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations is required.
- Certification in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and within the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse are preferred.
- An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or another clinical specialty certification, is preferred.
- Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
