Requirements
  • Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph.
  • Have 5+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Hold a certification satisfying DoD 8140/8570 requirements, such as Security+ or an equivalent certification.
  • Have strong hands-on Linux experience.
  • Have experience designing, deploying, and managing production-grade Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters through automation with Ansible and Terraform and/or CloudFormation in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Have experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, such as GitLab or an equivalent platform, and containerization.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the client and internal teams to design and implement technical solutions across multiple classification environments, working independently or collaboratively to address complex requirements.
  • Develop continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines from scratch in GitLab and Jenkins, integrating security scanning and Security Technical Implementation Guide compliance validation, and provide expert guidance on pipeline troubleshooting and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates, primarily using CloudFormation, to architect highly available, resilient, and secure DevSecOps tool infrastructure across AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S environments while ensuring Security Technical Implementation Guide compliance.
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting by analyzing system and application logs using Linux command-line tools, conducting root cause analysis, and developing mitigation strategies to address service degradation.
  • Provide expert guidance to development teams on secure coding practices, Security Technical Implementation Guide compliance, and vulnerability remediation in support of Authorization to Operate efforts.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, Infrastructure as Code best practices, and technical documentation.
