Job Summary:

Geisinger is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team supporting care for adults and adolescents based at the Geisinger Behavioral Health Center in Danville, PA. This provider will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient centered care.

Job Duties:

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments.

• Provide medication management, evaluations, and daily patient rounding.

• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, therapists, and case managers.

• Document all care in the Epic electronic health record.

• Participate in treatment team meetings and coordinate care transitions.

• Communicate with families, caregivers, and community providers as needed to support continuity of care.

Practice Environment

• Patient population: 75% adult, 25% pediatric (age 14+)

• Daily encounters: 10–16

• Resources include onsite pharmacy and phlebotomy services; EHR is Epic 

Work Schedule

• Rotating 3 days on, 4 days off; 4 days on, 3 days off
