About the job
- One year of Help Desk or Deskside Support experience is required.
- DLA CE certification for the IA Role/Function of Help Desk Tier II and III may be obtained upon hire.
- Security+ CE certification may be obtained within the first three months of hire.
- A Secret security clearance is required.
- The position requires local travel between locations on base using a personal vehicle, company van, cart, or other motorized vehicle.
- Proficiency in operating hardware, software, and mass storage technology is required.
- Ability to operate communications-computer systems under supervision and install, implement, maintain, and optimize operating systems, disk and tape management systems, and computer operations automation software is required.
- Ability to manage and prioritize assigned service tickets, interpret and follow standard operating procedures, and adapt to changing policies and technologies is required.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with peers and leadership and communicate effectively and diplomatically.
- Transition between daily operations and project actions as needed.
- Anticipate problems, identify deviations, and resolve them.
- Perform other duties as required.
- ServiceNow experience is a plus.
