  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and optimization, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in writing detailed technical specifications and documentation, including system requirements, design documents, and API documentation.
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a team of 3rd party developers, delivering tech specs, answering questions, and providing feedback once the code has been handed over.
  • Collaborate with BA’s and the Business when necessary to help define the problem statement, gather requirements and define the solution and scope of the development work.
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions that align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
  • Utilize object-oriented programming principles to architect scalable and maintainable software systems.
  • Write clean, well-documented technical specifications that adhere to established coding standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and API specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continually seeking opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, assisting with problem-solving and troubleshooting as needed.
