Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in communication or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate communications, including an advisory role with different audiences.
  • Solid understanding of business issues and the ability to translate them into value-added communication strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent writing, plain-language communication, and communication-strategy deployment skills.
  • Rigor, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to mobilize varied stakeholders and exert influence with different parties.
  • Mastery of internal communication, content creation, and performance analysis tools, including SharePoint, Canva, Google Analytics, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
  • English proficiency is required because of interactions with English-speaking clients, partners, and/or suppliers.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy communication strategies aligned with CAA-Québec's vision and business priorities.
  • Support different business sectors in defining their communication needs and issues.
  • Act as an advisor to managers and teams during projects, organizational changes, events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Anticipate needs, identify opportunities and risks, and recommend the most appropriate communication approaches.
  • Coordinate and complete several projects simultaneously by mobilizing the relevant stakeholders.
  • Create and optimize content for the organization's various communication channels, including the intranet, electronic newsletters, events, and social media.
  • Design and implement coherent, accessible, human, and mobilizing communication experiences.
  • Ensure communications strengthen employee engagement and contribute to employer-brand awareness.
  • Monitor trends and best practices in corporate communications to identify improvement opportunities and propose innovative initiatives.
