About the job
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Candidates must be at least 25 years old.
- Candidates must have a valid U.S. driver's license and two years of U.S. driving history.
- Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Candidates must be able to regularly assist wheelchair passengers, operate wheelchair ramps and securement systems, and assist with manually operated wheelchairs; some passengers and wheelchairs may weigh up to or exceed 400 pounds.
- Provide transportation to wheelchair users.
- Safely drive and operate the vehicle.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations.
- Use a mobile device for routing information to pick up passengers and drive them to their destinations.
- Uber or Lyft rideshare driving experience is a plus.
