Consultant Cardiologist

Position
We seek a skilled and motivated Consultant Cardiologist to join our Cardiology department. The ideal candidate will contribute to the smooth functioning of the Cathlab, ensuring technical and clinical excellence, compliance with quality standards, and delivering superior patient care. 

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Responsibilities
  • Assist Senior Consultants in interventional cardiology procedures.
  • Supervise junior medical staff and nursing teams, ensuring meticulous patient care and accurate medical records.
  • Oversee the patient journey from admission to discharge, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Be available for on-call duties on a rotational basis, including weekdays and Sundays.
• Quality and Safety Management
  • Ensure strict adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Drive clinical and technical quality improvement initiatives and implement action plans.
• Training and Development
  • Facilitate training and continuing education programs for medical and technical staff.
  • Promote competency-based training and support educational growth within the team.
  • Participate in Cathlab technical conferences, research activities, and mentoring.
• Research and Collaboration
  • Participate in clinical trials and assist in guiding the Research and Development Department.
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences or publish in reputed journals.

Qualifications

• DM/DNB in Cardiology from a reputed institute.
• 0–3 years of experience post DM/DNB.
