About the job
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required.
- Three to five years of related experience is required.
- At least three years of SQL Server development experience with the SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, or 2014 business intelligence stack is required.
- At least three years of development experience with SQL Server Integration Services is required.
- At least three years of development experience with SQL Server Reporting Services is required.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and concepts is required.
- Advanced knowledge of Transact-SQL, including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions, is required.
- Experience with index design and Transact-SQL performance-tuning techniques is required.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities are required.
- The ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts and adapt quickly to change is required.
- The ability to manage timelines and task priorities across multiple projects is required.
- The ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical personnel is required.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team cooperation is required.
- Initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are required.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, business analysts, application developers, solution architects, and data architects to analyze business requirements and specifications.
- Define, implement, customize, and support data warehouse extract, transform, and load solutions and SQL Server Reporting Services reports for a proprietary business intelligence solution built on the Microsoft business intelligence stack.
- Design, develop, test, tune, and implement extract, transform, and load processes, SQL Server Reporting Services reports, SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Research and facilitate resolutions for support or production-related extract, transform, and load database development issues and SQL Server Reporting Services report issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for extract, transform, and load, database, and report development standards, templates, and processes.
- Perform analysis, design, documentation, development, unit testing, and support for database extract, transform, and load and report development for software applications.
- Maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail across deliverables.
- Information Technology degree preferred.
- Computer Science degree preferred.
- Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services multidimensional and tabular models is a plus.
- Legal industry experience is preferable.
- Experience working with Aderant is a plus.
