Requirements

  • Interest in IT, computer science, or a related field of study.
  • Comfort jumping in to help when a problem is unfamiliar.
  • Strong attention to detail and respect for keeping systems and information secure.

Responsibilities

  • Support a helpdesk ticketing system and resolve end-user issues.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to IT systems administration, network management, infrastructure, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Work alongside the IT Systems Administrator on real IT project work.
  • Gain exposure to identity and access management tools, including Google Accounts, Okta single sign-on, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Use collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom, and Egnyte.
  • Gain introductory experience with Microsoft Azure and server administration fundamentals.
  • Gain exposure to endpoint management and mobile device management tools, including PDQ, Intune, and Mosyle.
  • Learn IT asset management practices using Snipe-IT.
  • Gain exposure to network management, firewall basics, and cybersecurity best practices.
