What you’ll do

• Take the tax lead on the structuring of investments and funds - structuring will either be done in-house or outsourced depending on the deal in question
• Identify tax risks and exposures and advise the wider investment team of the implications
• Input into valuations when required by the investment team
• Ensure that any new investments work with the existing fund structure(s)
• Lead on transfer-price analysis on non-UK funds and establish a directory of rates/margins etc. as a shared resource that we can use across the team 
• Manage the tax compliance advisors across all funds – reviewing their work and ensuring all filings are completed on a timely basis
• Work with the finance team to ensure that the agreed structuring is implementing post completion
• Work with the wider tax team to ensure that all group relevant matters are identified in a timely manner
• Work with the asset managers to ensure the relevant entities are tax compliant and meeting filing requirements for additional elements such as SAO, CByCR etc

What you’ll need

• Qualified tax professional preferably with UK and International exposure
• Strong technical ability across the taxes with the ability to balance risk and reward and make appropriate decisions
• The ability to learn and understand complex technical issues quickly and have strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships and communicate with associates at all levels across the business.  
• The ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and keep to tight deadlines
