Position Summary

The Business Intelligence department at Breeze is integral to facilitating data-driven decision making by ensuring the availability of timely, accurate, and actionable data to all who need it.  The Business Intelligence Analyst position will build out the BI solutions that support profitable execution within the business.  Success within this position requires a mix of equal parts technical acumen, tenacity, innovation, and collaboration. The role offers the chance to work across multiple departments and interface with other highly talented individuals.

Position Pay: $15 per hour

Note: This is not a remote role.

Essential Functions

• Liaise with internal customers to define problems, explore needs, and deliver on promises all while exhibiting impeccable customer service and domain knowledge
• Leverage Power Platform and SQL to develop dashboards, reports, and repositories that are scalable, accurate, and automated
• Complete ad-hoc analyses from various departments in a quick and accurate manner
• Assist in building out an ever-improving data ecosystem to enable self-service across the company
• Drive tool adoption by evangelizing the use of and building trust in the data tools developed by the department

Minimum Qualifications

• Available 20-40 hours per week.
• Combination of experience and education will be considered
• Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Operations or related field from an accredited university
• Experience in Excel and one or more of the following: SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Sisense, Power Query/Power Pivot/Power View, R, Python
• Ability to analyze problems and develop actionable solutions
• High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desire for success
• Complete projects on time with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Working towards a master’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations or related field from an accredited university
• Experience with PowerBI, Power Apps, or Dataverse
• Proficiency in DAX, M, Power Query, Data Modeling
• Experience with R/Python or Power Apps
• Experience using Lean/Six Sigma or PMBOK
