Requirements

Experience building automation systems and integrating them into robotized cells or production lines, including designing, building, and testing control systems.
Proficiency in programmable logic controller (PLC) and human-machine interface (HMI) programming using Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC Unified.
Knowledge of automation components, including market solutions and current technology trends from leading suppliers, such as sensors, actuators, controllers, and communication protocols.
Strong organizational skills and drive to deliver products on tight timelines.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to customer sites.
An engineering degree; Automation, Robotics, or Electronics is preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English.
A hands-on attitude and ability to find solutions and get work done.

Responsibilities

Define and design integrated solutions for robotized stations.
Work on robotized cells end-to-end, from electrical connections to integrating mechanical parts, electrical and pneumatic components, actuators, electronics, and safety systems.
Design the integration of Nomagic robots into customer production lines.
Maintain PLC code and electrical schematics documentation.
Deliver robots to customers through end-to-end integration, working hands-on at customer sites with the team and contractors.
Debug problems and perform maintenance and service activities on robots and equipment at customer sites.
Work with software engineers to ensure hardware and software integrate well.
Create PLC programs.
Design and program safety systems.
Create and build simple prototypes for robotic solutions.
Order parts and components required to build robots.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT.
Knowledge of TIA Portal Openness and Ignition HMI (Inductive Automation).
Experience with process simulation and knowledge of Siemens environment for modularization and revisioning of work.
Hands-on experience with EPLAN.
End-to-end project management experience.
Experience working with ABB industrial robots.
Experience in a maintenance or service team.
French and/or German language skills.

Some of the problems you may try to solve with us:

Work on robotized cells end-to-end from electric connections to integrating hardware components (mechanical parts, electrical & pneumatic components, actuators, electronics, safety)
Help with designing integration of Nomagic robots into customer production lines.
Keep our documentation (PLC Code, electric schematics) up to date and in well shape
Deliver robots to customers with end-to-end integration: hands-on at customer sites and with the team and contractors
Debug problems, perform maintenance and service activities on our robots and equipment on customer’s sites
Work hand in hand with software engineers to make sure that hardware and software integrate well
Create PLC programs
Design and program safety systems
Design and build simple prototypes for our robotic solutions,

What skills we’d like you to have:

Experience in building automation systems and integrating them into robotized cells or production lines including designing, building and testing control systems.
Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming using Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC Unified. Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT is a plus
Knowledge of TIA Portal Openness and Ignition HMI (Inductive Automation) is a plus
Process simulation experience and good knowledge of Siemens environment in terms of modularization and revisioning of work is strong plus
Knowledge of automation components - market solutions and current tech trends from leading suppliers (sensors, actuators, controllers, ..), and communication protocols
Hands-on experience with EPLAN is a strong plus
Strong organizational skills and drive to deliver great products at tight timelines. Experience end-to-end project management is a strong plus
Track record of working with industrial robots ABB is a plus
Experience in maintenance or service team is a plus
Speed and efficiency in communicating with internal and external partners within cross-functional teams
Ability to travel up to 20% of time to customer sites
Engineering degree (Automation, Robotics or Electronics preferably)
Excellent communication skills in English. French and/or German is a plus
