Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of proven property management experience.
  • Understanding of property management and its financial aspects.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of rules and regulations surrounding property management.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and relevant databases and software, including Campground Manager, Master, and Rent Manager.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills for meeting with prospective and current tenants.
  • Attention to detail to ensure applications are accurate and tenant issues or questions are adequately addressed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving ability to find effective solutions for potential issues.
  • Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English and Spanish.
  • Ability to conduct property inspections and maintain safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
  • Ability to manage operating budgets, financial reports, expenses, and financial objectives.
  • Ability to plan and execute resident relation events and activities.
  • Ability to manage rent delinquency through timely communication, follow-up, and enforcement measures.
  • Ability to analyze property performance metrics, financial reports, and customer feedback.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate with residents, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans, set objectives, and implement initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect the property regularly to ensure the community is well maintained and meets curb appeal standards.
  • Manage and oversee community operations, maintenance, administration, and improvements.
  • Prepare and manage the operating budget, control expenses, meet financial objectives, and prepare financial variance reports.
  • Supervise monthly site-rent collection and ensure prompt deposits and accurate records.
  • Provide customer service and develop rapport with current residents to encourage referrals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor marketing strategies to maximize resident retention and generate qualified prospects.
  • Conduct marketing surveys to monitor competitors and make recommendations based on survey analysis.
  • Develop and implement a positive resident relations program.
  • Achieve and maintain designated occupancy goals and objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop qualified talent to achieve project goals.
  • Complete and submit required records, reports, and documents accurately and on time to the company and government agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Liaise with government agencies and coordinate with other company departments.
  • Implement community-specific policies and procedures and policies directed by management.
