Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 2–5 years of progressive construction-related experience is required.
  • The candidate must be organized and able to prioritize multiple deliverables with changing deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Experience with scheduling software, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Periodic travel may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Share partial ownership of construction projects, including preparing project construction documents.
  • Manage project schedules with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and required subcontractors.
  • Manage and maintain project budgets.
  • Prepare and issue subcontract-specific terms and conditions for incorporation into the master subcontract.
  • Work alongside and assist Preconstruction with buyout.
  • Manage the master submittal schedule and submittal log.
  • Manage material tracking and deficiency logs.
  • Work with the Project Manager to resolve project-specific issues.
  • Assist the Project Administrator with construction documentation processing.
  • Manage Owner Change Order Requests from request for proposal through change-order submission.
  • Prepare and distribute subcontractor change orders and associated budget revisions.
  • Assist with and prepare monthly Applications for Payment.
  • Collaborate with the Project Administrator and Project Manager to complete close-out activities.
  • Attend and participate in trade pre-construction meetings to review project requirements.
  • Take minutes for Owner and subcontractor meetings.
  • Submit permit applications and track project-related permits.
  • Independently manage small construction projects with limited scope and complexity when assigned.
  • Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System by following safe work practices, raising concerns, attending and applying safety and health training, and helping eliminate hazards.
