- Provide nursing care for patients in a 24-bed observation unit requiring active and focused management during an expected length of stay between 8 and 48 hours.
- Manage patients with chest pain, congestive heart failure, transient ischemic attack, and specified surgical conditions according to evidence-based, diagnosis-specific protocols.
- Deliver holistic, patient-focused services from admission through discharge.
