Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in relevant areas is required.
  • Experience in lab management, mouse models of cancer, and cell or organoid culture is required.
  • Follow protocols with attention to detail.
  • Produce accurate and high-quality work.
  • Think creatively to solve problems.
  • Have excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Manage laboratory operations, including ordering, inventory, organization, and maintenance of equipment and reagents, and develop protocols for research and regulatory compliance, including animal and biosafety protocols.
  • Contribute to research projects involving mouse husbandry, genotyping, experiments, sample collection, and analyses.
  • Perform two-dimensional cell and three-dimensional organoid cultures.
  • Perform molecular, cellular, and tissue analyses, including DNA cloning, CRISPR and RNA interference gene perturbation, DNA, RNA, and protein analysis, flow cytometry, and histology.
  • Develop relationships with research partners, research sites, sales representatives, regulatory offices, and affiliated organizations as part of laboratory management.
  • Train and supervise staff and interface with existing postdoctoral fellows and students in the laboratory.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
