About the job
- Six years of experience with Property & Casualty forms, underwriting, and/or regulatory compliance work.
- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
- Familiarity with insurance form drafting.
- Understanding of complex aspects of underwriting, rating, regulatory compliance, and insurance products.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Lead Product Design and multidisciplinary consulting projects for clients.
- Access and review insurance-related laws and regulations.
- Perform competitive research.
- Organize and present competitive information in a meaningful format.
- Draft basic product documents for new programs and create state-required forms to address compliance issues.
- Prepare support and compliance reviews, including forms checklists and transmittals for form filings, and draft explanatory language.
- Work directly with state filings analysts.
- Correspond directly with clients about project goals and results.
- Draft form interrogatory responses.
- Recommend solutions and/or alternatives to clients.
- Keep informed about industry trends and marketplace changes.
- Perform peer reviews.
- Assist in preparing project proposals to meet clients’ needs.
- Prepare polished, professional, clear reports presenting results and information.
- Invoice clients.
