About the Company

Baselayer

Identity verification and fraud risk scoring

Baselayer verifies businesses and the AI agents acting for them for banks, fintechs, and enterprises. It started with KYB data used by thousands of U.S. financial institutions to onboard and underwrite merchants, preventing fraud and enabling revenue. In September 2026, it launched the Agentic Identity Suite, including Know Your Agent credentials to confirm which AI agent is acting, who authorized it, and whether a transaction should proceed, with partners like FIS, Prove, and Socure. Its goal is to scale agentic identity infrastructure, reduce risk, and broaden adoption across financial services and other industries for safe AI-enabled onboarding, approvals, and transactions.
