Vitality acquires Ramp Health to integrate digital behaviour change platform with onsite clinical services

Vitality, a global health behavior change platform, has acquired Ramp Health, a provider of employer onsite healthcare and safety services, to create an integrated health and risk mitigation offering. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition combines Vitality's AI-enabled digital health platform with Ramp Health's onsite clinical and coaching services. This allows employers to manage both chronic disease and occupational safety through a single solution, addressing medical claims and workers' compensation costs simultaneously. Vitality's platform uses AI to analyse lifestyle and medical data, generating personalised health insights. Ramp Health's onsite clinicians and safety professionals provide human intervention when needed. An independent study showed Vitality's approach delivered 180% ROI and 4% savings on medical claims. The combined offering aims to help employers reduce healthcare costs whilst improving employee health outcomes.
