  • A four-year degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of building and construction management experience.
  • OSHA site safety experience.
  • Current knowledge of modern technology and strong communication skills.
  • General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel when required.
  • Working knowledge of project management processes and software, including Microsoft Office and SAGE 300 CRE.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Perform general contract and subcontract administration.
  • Monitor and document jobsite safety and accident prevention.
  • Manage construction scheduling.
  • Procure and expedite materials and equipment.
  • Process requests for information by receiving, reviewing, submitting, and logging them.
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings and submittals.
  • Review, report, update, and account for project costs.
  • Review subcontractor applications for payment.
  • Participate in and document project coordination meetings.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors' field installations.
  • Review and negotiate change proposal pricing from subcontractors.
  • Prepare change proposals.
  • Document, report, and maintain change orders and associated costs.
  • Research and suggest options for construction means, methods, and equipment.
  • Perform quality control.
  • Manage project closeout.
  • Implement applicable safety programs and EEO/Affirmative Action programs on the project.
