Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field is required.
  • Three to seven years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles is required.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, General Data Protection Regulation, labor and employment laws, and regulatory reporting is required.
  • The ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally and explain legal issues to all levels of management is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft web-based platforms such as SharePoint is required.
  • Experience in policy development and training program management is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with legal, human resources, and operations teams are required.
  • The ability to collaborate, share knowledge, respond quickly to urgent matters, and execute proactively is required.
  • The ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys with contract management, including reviewing, editing, tracking, and archiving agreements.
  • Ensure contracts comply with internal standards and legal requirements, escalating issues to legal counsel when necessary.
  • Maintain centralized records and reporting for legal matters affecting multiple entities.
  • Serve as a liaison between legal departments of different MOBIS entities to ensure consistency in legal practices and documentation.
  • Provide general support to in-house counsel on other matters as necessary.
  • Track and analyze regulatory updates relevant to the organization's operations, including labor, immigration, tariffs, data privacy, and anti-corruption matters.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory changes affecting operations, including labor, employment, trade, and data privacy laws.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance training programs for employees.
  • Maintain training records and ensure timely completion of mandatory courses.
  • Assist in drafting, updating, and promoting the company's Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure the Code of Conduct aligns with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Administer and monitor whistleblower reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide support for ongoing whistleblower cases.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of whistleblower reports in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and reporting systems.
  • Assist with internal audits and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with legal, human resources, and other operational teams to address compliance issues.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of manufacturing facility or warehouse operations and regulations is preferred.
  • Experience in risk assessment and internal audit processes is preferred.
  • A paralegal certificate is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional or similar are preferred.
