Job Title: Leader, Vice President Commercial Operations

The Vice President of Commercial Operations is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the team responsible for ensuring that our entire customer facing organization is enabled with the skills, tools, processes, workflows, analytics and insights to successfully retain and grow our customers. Because of the work you’ll do, more and more fleets will identify risk, stay safer, optimize efficiency and gain greater productivity.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the team responsible for Commercial Operations: Learning and Enablement, Tools, Analytics & Insights, Operations.
- Partner with Sales and Success leadership to capture requirements, implement improvements and drive continuous forward progress
- Collaborate across Lytx to implement commercial strategies across the customer journey that align with Lytx’s overall goals and objectives.
- Bring thought leadership to the Commerical Operations function. With your leadership and guidance, Commercial Operations serves as business partners, trusted advisors, and positively opinionated copilots in our efforts to effectively, efficiently and happily build and grow our business. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and deploy processes, connected to our internal tools, which enable our people to be highly effective and efficient, enabling them to invest more time with customers and prospects.
- Drive ongoing improvements in the knowledge, skills, and abilities of our sales and success teams. Develop and implement training programs and materials to accelerate learning and achievement of key objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing clear responsibilities, meaningful and actionable feedback, mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with other departments such as marketing, product management, and finance to achieve business objectives.
- Perform other duties assigned.
What you need:
- 10-15 years of enterprise SaaS commercial operations experience required. Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability in a complex-selling enterprise SaaS environment.
- Experience in leading and managing teams, with proven ability to develop and motivate team members towards achieving common goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets
- Delivers results through exceptional organizational agility, world class communications skills, creative problem solving, authenticity and rive.
- Direct experience leading one or more of the key functions within Commercial Operations in an enterprise SaaS environment.
- Line experience preferred, in Sales or Customer Success.
- Strong analytical skills, including identification of metrics, automation of data
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, Master’s degree preferred

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:
$184,000.00 - $232,000.00
