Burnout Brands buys and manages a portfolio of specialized automotive aftermarket brands. Its products include Monster Transmission remanufactured transmissions and torque converters, BD Diesel Performance turbochargers and other diesel parts, D&J Precision Machine high‑performance Cummins engines, and Brian Tooley Racing cams and valvetrain parts; these brands sell directly to enthusiasts and through dealers. The company uses a buy‑and‑build model backed by private equity to expand production capabilities, add services, and grow market share across diesel and pushrod performance niches. Led by Christian Roth (former BD Diesel CEO), the goal is to grow a coordinated portfolio of leading brands under one umbrella.

What believers are saying

  • Monster Transmission featured in-stock StreetMonster 10R80 and 6L80E products in May 2026.
  • Burnout Brands keeps acquiring; D&J Precision Machine closed January 2025, BTR closed December 2025.

What critics are saying

  • Integration risk rises after BTR's December 2025 acquisition and more portfolio overlap.
  • Demand concentrates in diesel trucks and pushrod performance; any category slowdown hits 2026 sales.
  • A quality or warranty failure at Monster Transmission or BD Diesel damages every brand's trust.

What makes Burnout Brands unique

  • Hidden Harbor built Burnout Brands in June 2022 for serial aftermarket roll-ups.
  • Its portfolio spans Monster Transmission, BD Diesel, D&J Precision Machine, and BTR.
  • It sells engineered parts direct-to-consumer and through dealer networks, not commodity distribution.
